Kieran Tierney has delivered a big blow for both Arsenal and Scotland on the injury front after the left-back picked up a knee problem during the recently concluded international break. It has been reported that Tierney will likely miss the rest of the season as he needs surgery to correct the said knee problem thus making him a big doubt for Scotland ahead of their World Cup 2022 playoff tie with Ukraine.

Scotland and Ukraine were drawn together in path A of the World Cup 2022 playoff draw in the European section after the two teams finished second in their respective qualifying group.
